The 2021 Yamaha YZ450FX is pretty all new with most of its upgrades coming from it’s other sibling, the YZ450F. The chassis and engine are a step in the right direction, but that didn’t stop us from trying to get both to work in harmony even more out on the track and trail. These two maps are some of our favorites with the last one developed over the course of a couple weeks out on a couple moto tracks as well as some tighter, technical, rocky terrain. If you want to try these maps make sure to have the “POSITION” set correctly on the side of the grid. Some of those numbers have changed on the “Keefer Connection Map”. Enjoy and let us know what you think!
My Favorite 2021 Yamaha YZ250F Maps
Here are two of my favorite maps that I have tried for the 2021 YZ250F. Both give a distinct different feel, but each offer something that I feel the YZ250F needs. Yes, you can also try these in your 2020 YZ250F as well.
2021 Kawasaki KX250 Maps
Here is a map that should be tried with the black coupler. This map will increase pulling power out of area 3 of corners as well as give you more mid-top end stretch in 2-3rd gears.
2019 Yamaha YZ250F Maps
Here are some maps for you to try on the 2019 Yamaha YZ250F. You can get these on the Yamaha website, but since I keep getting emails that say “I can’t find it”, now they’re right here for you to see! Enjoy! -KK
